Founder of Ordinals: Runes protocol mainnet to launch on the next Bitcoin halving.

According to a BlockBeats report on December 16th, Casey, the founder of the Ordinals protocol, announced the launch time of the Runes protocol's mainnet during the Taipei Blockchain Week. The launch will take place at block height 840,000, which is the same time as the next Bitcoin halving. The fourth Bitcoin halving is expected to occur on April 23, 2024. As previously reported by BlockBeats on December 6th, Casey Rodarmor, the founder of the Bitcoin NFT protocol Ordinals, wrote a post regarding the legitimacy of Rune Alpha, stating that "they are not affiliated with me and these Runes will not be retroactively identified when the official Runes are released."
