L2 network ZKFair launches testnet and airdrops 100% of tokens to the community.
BlockBeats reported on December 7th that the first community L2 network, ZKFair, announced that its testnet was officially launched yesterday evening. After the mainnet goes live, 100% of the tokens will be airdropped to all community users through Gas fee Airdrop.
ZKFair is the first experimental L2 based on Polygon CDK and Celestia DA, aiming to build a fair launch, community-driven and community-governed ZK L2 network. ZKFair uses the stablecoin USDC as its native token, ensuring 100% EVM compatibility, low gas fees, high performance, and high security.
According to ZKFair's official information, the total supply of ZKF tokens is 10 billion, of which 2 billion will be fairly airdropped to L2 community users, and the remaining 8 billion will be produced through Gas Fee airdrop after the mainnet goes live, with a Gas Fee cap of 3 million USDC on a first-come-first-served basis. There will be no additional issuance of ZKF tokens in the future. All 10 billion ZKF tokens will be released and circulated immediately.
ZKFair's mainnet is expected to go live around December 20th.
