Wintermute Asia has executed the first bulk options trade on CME Group.

According to BlockBeats news on November 21, Wintermute announced that its cryptocurrency derivatives trading department, Wintermute Asia, can now trade options on CME Group. The first bulk options trade was executed between Wintermute Asia and TP ICAP on the BTC/USD block, cleared by ABN Amro Clearing Bank. Wintermute Asia offers ordinary options for BTC, ETH, and a large number of altcoins, with expiration dates ranging from 1 day to 6 months, as well as various exotic options. Options can be settled directly on Wintermute Asia, Deribit, and CME. Wintermute Asia can construct almost any trading structure based on different usage scenarios, trading strategies, and market conditions. Wintermute Asia also plans to expand its business into traditional finance.
