Deutsche Börse announces "Horizon 2026" strategy, including the establishment of a digital asset trading platform.
On November 8th, Deutsche Börse AG announced its "Horizon 2026" strategy, which includes completing the acquisition of SimCorp, expanding its leading position in the existing and new asset categories of digital platforms, and more actively using stock buybacks for precise capital management (with repurchases reaching €300 million from Q1 2024 onwards). Deutsche Börse AG stated that in the long run, the new technology generated by the digitization of existing or new asset categories and their corresponding trading and settlement platforms has further growth potential. For the Deutsche Börse Group, the focus is on further expanding cloud usage, accelerating the development of Clearstream's digital post-trading platform D7, and establishing trading platforms for digital asset categories.
