OPNX issues a tender offer to CoinFLEX creditors, with the recipients receiving a total of 25% ownership in OPNX.
BlockBeats News reported on October 31st that Leslie Lamb, CEO of Open Exchange (OPNX), issued an open letter stating that OPNX has made a tender offer to CoinFLEX creditors, offering a total of 25% ownership in OPNX, which will be distributed proportionally based on their debt size. Creditors who do not accept the offer will receive nothing.
In addition, the letter states that CoinFLEX creditors who accept the offer will collectively obtain up to 1 billion OX, which can be claimed within 10 years through their OPNX accounts or automated DeFi platforms such as LlamaPay, without the need for trust. The first 50% of signing creditors will receive two-thirds of the OX distribution, which will be distributed proportionally based on debt size. The remaining 50% of signing creditors will receive one-third of this distribution, which will also be distributed proportionally based on debt size.
Previously, on October 26th, CoinFLEX creditors sued Mark Lamb, CEO of CoinFLEX, accusing him of violating his fiduciary duties at CoinFLEX when launching OPNX, which was later renamed from CoinFLEX and referred to as a "competing enterprise" in documents submitted to the Hong Kong Civil Court by CoinFLEX creditors on October 12th.
