PlutusDAO has started voting on the proposal to initiate ARB token staking, with Arbitrum offering a temporary lead of 175 million ARB tokens.

BlockBeats News, on October 30th, PlutusDAO began voting on a proposal to launch ARB token staking. The proposal from Arbitrum DAO, offering 175 million ARB tokens, is currently leading with a 99.8% share. Previously, PlutusDAO initiated a proposal for feedback on the Arbitrum forum, suggesting the activation of ARB staking and the distribution of token inflation to token locking users. Arbitrum DAO has the right to mint 2% of the total ARB supply as inflation each year, with the first opportunity to mint tokens on March 15, 2024 (the minting function can only be called once a year). PlutusDAO suggests minting 1.75% of the token supply and distributing it within a year.
