Mythical Games is seeking a new $38 million funding, and its in-game NFT market has been approved by Apple and Google.

According to BlockBeats news on October 24th, John Linden, CEO of Web3 game development company Mythical Games, stated that the user base, revenue, and retention rate of their blockchain game NFL Rivals have all increased since the start of the NFL season, with registered users approaching 3 million. Linden stated that both Apple and Google have approved early versions of the in-game market for NFL Rivals, where players can trade NFTs like official player cards. This means that the two tech giants are seeking to improve the gaming experience for players, which is "significant." "We have seen a nearly 50% increase in trading volume." Additionally, since its full launch in August, NFL Rivals has generated "millions of dollars" in revenue, just in time for the football season. Linden stated that Apple and Google will allow Mythical Games to release the in-game NFT market in three phases, as both parties want to protect users. The first phase will allow players to purchase assets from other players through a "recommendation engine." Mythical Games is now working on the second phase, where players will be able to sell game assets in-game through a "credit system." Linden added that the third phase will involve the launch of the entire market. It is reported that the company's current goal is to raise $38 million in funding.
