SSV Network has announced the Governance 2.0 plan, which involves establishing the SSV Foundation and empowering the community.
BlockBeats reported on October 18th that SSV Network, Ethereum's staking infrastructure, has released its Governance 2.0 plan, establishing the SSV Foundation and empowering the community to enter the next stage of transferring the protocol to the community. SSV Network consists of three parts: open-source protocol, SSV DAO, and the current SSV Foundation.
SSV DAO has taken multiple steps to achieve community operations, but initially needs to create a framework. In the next few weeks (waiting for DAO voting), as the DAO finally establishes the SSV Foundation, the next governance era is about to come. The Foundation Working Group (FWG) has completed a comprehensive proposal for the establishment and operation of the SSV Foundation. The Foundation's specifications are summarized as follows:
- It includes professional directors from Hash Directors and Leeward Management Limited. However, the drafting of the Foundation's documents allows token holders to have all the rights and measures have been taken to allow token holders to have as much speaking rights as possible legally.
- Carey Olsen will serve as legal advisor responsible for addressing legal challenges and regulatory environment.
- A budget of $400,000 per year will ensure the smooth operation of the SSV Foundation.
