FTX's sponsorship deals with Riot Games, Tomorrowland, and Coachella have been revealed, with a total amount of nearly $167 million.
According to BlockBeats news on October 18th, as reported by The Block, court documents presented during the criminal trial of former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried revealed that FTX had signed huge sponsorship deals with multiple major brands. Among them, the developer of "League of Legends", Riot Games, agreed to receive nearly $100 million in sponsorship over seven years, while the Tomorrowland music festival agreed to receive approximately $42 million in sponsorship before 2026. In addition, the Coachella music festival held annually in southern California signed a deal worth $25 million with FTX.
These details were revealed to expose Bankman-Fried's numerous sponsorship deals during the bull market in the cryptocurrency industry, some of which were halted after FTX declared bankruptcy.
