The Fantom Foundation has confirmed that some wallets have been attacked, resulting in a loss of approximately $550,000.

BlockBeats reported on October 18th that the Fantom Foundation has officially confirmed that a few Fantom wallets, including about $550,000 of the Fantom Foundation's funds, were hacked. Although initial reports suggested that the attack was carried out through a zero-day vulnerability in Google Chrome, the specific attack mechanism is still under active investigation. In addition, a personal wallet belonging to a Fantom employee was also affected. Some of the affected wallets were previously marked as "Foundation Wallets" but have since been reassigned to a Fantom employee, indicating that this incident was a targeted attack against individuals. Currently, the funds lost by the employee are being tracked and investigated.
