Consensys announced the closure of Truffle and Ganache, and formed a new partnership with HardHat.
BlockBeats reported on September 22 that Consensys, an Ethereum infrastructure development company, announced the closure of its development tools Truffle and Ganache, and established a new partnership with HardHat to support developers. Truffle and Ganache have been important tools in the Ethereum ecosystem since their inception, helping developers easily create, test, and deploy Solidity smart contracts. In order to better support Web3 builders, Consensys has decided to focus the Truffle team's efforts on expanding its Infura, MetaMask Snaps, and SDK products, and to work with HardHat to provide a smooth transition for developers currently using Truffle and Ganache.
Consensys will continue to support Truffle and Ganache for the next 90 days and will publicly archive its code repository on December 20, 2023.
