WSJ: Cryptocurrency companies are seeking growth opportunities outside the United States.
According to BlockBeats news on September 21, cryptocurrency industry executives still crave growth. However, the US market is no longer in their plans. Executives from Ryze Labs, a cryptocurrency venture capital firm, Ripple Labs, a payment company, and Zodia Markets, a digital asset trading platform supported by Standard Chartered Bank, all said they are focusing their growth efforts outside of the US.
Graham, managing partner of Ryze Labs (formerly Sino Global Capital), said the venture capital firm is carefully reviewing its investments for the US market. The company is now requesting its portfolio companies, as well as those considering investment, to explain how they will set up firewalls to protect their US operations and products, or how they will address compliance risks.
