Starknet will change its Starknet Feeder gateway in Q4 and discontinue support for multiple types of queries.
BlockBeats reported on September 19th that Starknet announced it will make changes to the Starknet Feeder gateway in Q4 2023 and will stop servicing multiple types of queries, preserving only endpoints related to synchronization for full nodes. At that time, the Starknet Feeder gateway will act as a gateway for querying the centralized sequencer in the Starknet state. Starknet recommends that Starknet developers switch to API services or full nodes, such as Pathfinder, Juno, and Papyrus.
Starknet stated that this is only a temporary solution until full nodes supporting JSON-RPC for Starknet mature and can meet the ecosystem's needs. Transitioning to full nodes and API services means moving from centralized solutions to decentralized, resilient, and efficient systems.
