Offchain Labs co-founder: Gaming is one of Arbitrum's growth areas, and the Stylus upgrade helps improve on-chain performance.

BlockBeats news, September 13th, BlockBeats reporter reported from the front line of Token2049 that Ed Felten, co-founder of Offchain Labs, said at the "Scaling Blockchains: The State of Layer 2 Solutions" roundtable discussion in Singapore that "In the DeFi field, Arbitrum is the leader, with a total value on-chain exceeding the sum of all other Layer 2 solutions. We have a very large and powerful ecosystem. Gaming is one of the real growth areas, and we have been working hard on this. We recently released the Stylus upgrade, which allows developers to build applications on the Arbitrum Nitro chain using traditional EVM tools and WASM-compatible languages such as Rust, C, and C++. This not only helps attract more developers, but also improves performance by 10 to 15 times compared to EVM. So we believe this will have a significant driving force on the gaming ecosystem."
