Consensys survey: Nigeria is the country with the highest cryptocurrency awareness globally.

According to a report published on the official website of ConsenSys, an Ethereum infrastructure development company, on September 4th, Nigeria has the highest level of cryptocurrency awareness in the world. In a public opinion poll, 99% of respondents stated that they were aware of cryptocurrencies, and 70% were familiar with the basic concepts of blockchain technology. In addition, South Africans also showed strong interest in cryptocurrencies in this survey. 98% of respondents stated that they were aware of cryptocurrencies, and 80% of South African respondents expressed their willingness to invest in cryptocurrencies. It is reported that this survey was conducted by ConsenSys in collaboration with YouGov from April 26th to May 18th, 2023, and a total of 15,158 people between the ages of 18 and 65 participated in the survey worldwide.
