CZ: Fireblocks has fixed the vulnerability that affected the MPC wallet, ensuring user fund safety.
BlockBeats reported today that Fireblocks, a cryptocurrency custody technology provider, recently disclosed a series of vulnerabilities (collectively referred to as "BitForge") that affect popular crypto wallets using multi-party computation (MPC) technology. The company classified BitForge as "Zero Day" vulnerabilities, meaning that the developers of the affected software had not discovered these vulnerabilities before Fireblocks' disclosure. On August 10th, Binance founder CZ stated on social media that Fireblocks had discovered a series of new vulnerabilities affecting MPC wallets that had previously existed in Binance's open source TSS library, but had since been fixed. No Binance user funds were affected.
