"Fortune: Haun Ventures, affected by the bear market, has only deployed 30% of its $1.5 billion capital after a year and a half of establishment."

According to a report from Fortune magazine on August 2nd, Haun Ventures, founded by former a16z partner Katie Haun, has only successfully deployed 30% of its $1.5 billion funds after a year and a half of establishment and fundraising. Although the original plan was to deploy all funds within 2 years, Haun Ventures encountered a bear market immediately after its establishment, and its plan has now been revised to deploy funds over a period of about three years. As of mid-June, the company had deployed approximately 30% of its capital in more than 20 investments, including publicly traded tokens such as BTC and ETH. Haun Ventures declined to disclose detailed holdings data. It is reported that Haun Ventures has invested in companies such as NFT creation platform Zora, Web3 infrastructure platform ThirdWeb, and provided $32 million in funding for Aleo's B-round financing (extension) focused on privacy, as well as support for the encrypted data analysis platform Artemis. As previously reported by BlockBeats, Katie Haun left a16z in early 2022 to establish the venture capital firm Haun Ventures, and announced in March 2022 that it had raised $1.5 billion for its two cryptocurrency-focused venture funds. Of this, $500 million will be used for early-stage investments and $1 billion for an "accelerator" fund. Haun Ventures will invest directly in equity and tokens.
