The US SEC may appeal the ruling on the Ripple case.

According to BlockBeats news on July 22nd, in a filing submitted to Judge Jed Rakoff of the Southern District of New York on Friday, SEC lawyers stated that some of the rulings in the Ripple case were incorrect and that this court should not follow these rulings. SEC staff is considering various available avenues for further review and intends to recommend that the SEC seek such review. It is reported that the reason for the SEC's potential appeal is that in dealing with the Terraform and Do Kwon cases, another judge in the same court cited rulings related to the Ripple case. Unless the SEC appeals the ruling, it will be considered a precedent related to this case. If approved by the two-party committee, the SEC will seek to overturn the unfavorable portion of the Ripple ruling.
