Binance Research 2023 H1 report: Bitcoin's market share reaches the highest level since April 2021.
BlockBeats reported on July 21st that Binance Research released its mid-year report for 2023, which noted a sustained growth signal in the cryptocurrency industry and significant development in multiple fields, with overall steady operation.
Bitcoin's market share reached its highest level since April 2021 at the end of the first half of the year, and its price performance, which has risen more than 87% since the beginning of the year, is significantly better than many TraFi investments. At the same time, the correlation between Bitcoin and TraFi is currently at a multi-year low.
In terms of stablecoins, the global market value of stablecoins decreased by 7%, while USDT's market share increased by 25.8% since the beginning of the year. Compared to the global cryptocurrency market, DeFi's dominance decreased by 0.5%.
Regarding NFTs, the trading volume of NFTs in the first half of 2023 increased compared to the second half of 2022, mainly driven by the increased activity in the Blur market at the beginning of the year. However, due to the decrease in the floor price of many NFT series, the performance of NFTs in the entire cryptocurrency market was relatively weak.
