Cryptocurrencies such as SOL and MATIC, which were previously classified as securities by the SEC, have recently experienced significant price increases.
BlockBeats reported on July 14th that SOL, ADA, MATIC, and other cryptocurrencies previously listed by the SEC as securities saw significant gains, possibly influenced by Ripple's XRP not being classified as a security. According to OKX, SOL rose 16.75% in the past 24 hours to $25.92, ADA rose 14.77% to $0.33, MATIC rose 16.67% to $0.84, SAND rose 9.54% to $0.46, ATOM rose 6.27% to $9.63, and FIL rose 6.29% to $4.54. In June, the SEC's lawsuit against Binance mentioned cryptocurrencies listed as securities, including but not limited to BNB, BUSD, SOL, ADA, MATIC, FIL, ATOM, SAND, MANA, ALGO, AXS, and COTI.
