Former SEC Chairman: Approval of Bitcoin Spot ETF "Hard to Resist".
According to a BlockBeats report on July 11th citing Crypto Globe, Jay Clayton, former chairman of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), stated in an interview that "when the SEC approves a bitcoin futures ETF, it believes that the protection for the ultimate investor in that market is sufficient, but at the time, that protection was not seen in the spot market, so a distinction was made. I think the institutions that have applied for a bitcoin spot ETF now believe that these distinctions have disappeared, and now spot products are less resistant and more efficient for investors. It will be difficult to resist the approval of a bitcoin spot ETF."
