Modular open-source framework ZK Stack launched by zkSync for building customized zkRollups.
BlockBeats news, on June 26th, zkSync announced the release of ZK Stack, a modular open-source framework for building customized zkRollups. ZK Stack grants developers full autonomy, from choosing data availability modes to using their own project's token as a decentralized sequencer.
It is reported that ZK Stack provides two key functionalities: sovereignty and seamless connectivity. Creators have full ownership of the code and unrestricted autonomy to customize and shape every aspect of the zkRollup chain. These zkRollup chains operate independently, relying only on Ethereum L1 for their activity and security, while cross-chain bridges facilitate interconnectivity between each chain, achieving trustless, fast (within minutes), and cost-effective (single transaction cost) interoperability.
