Mindao: Curve founder deposits significant amount of CRV to Aave for borrowing, actually a bait for short selling.
BlockBeats news, on June 12th, Mindao, the founder of DeFi protocol dForce, posted on social media that the founder of Curve had deposited tokens that accounted for over 33% of the circulating supply of CRV on Aave, borrowing 71 million US dollars worth of stablecoins. This poses significant risks to both the Curve ecosystem and Aave, as market downturns and extreme liquidity contraction intensify the risks. As Aave V2 has no deposit limit, it is impossible to control the exposure of collateral, and the only option is to increase the borrowing cost of USDT. Using one's own token as leverage may seem like a sell-off, but it is actually a form of incentivized short-selling.
