$3.6 billion worth of Bitcoin and Ethereum options contracts on Deribit will expire this Friday.

According to BlockBeats news on May 25th, approximately $3.6 billion worth of Bitcoin and Ethereum options contracts on Deribit will expire this Friday. Among them, the value of Bitcoin options contracts is $2.3 billion, with a put-to-call ratio of only 0.38. The number of outstanding call options may be more than two and a half times that of put options. The value of Ethereum options contracts is $1.3 billion. Deribit's Chief Business Officer, Luuk Strijers, stated that although the amount of expiring options is huge, it does not necessarily mean that the market has reason to panic. "The implied volatility is still at its lowest level, and the DVOL trading volume for Bitcoin and Ethereum is at 50, with even lower short-term trading volume, but slightly rising." "The levels of Bitcoin and Ethereum are the same, which is rare in history."
