Solana's privacy project, Light Protocol, has launched version 3 and will be released on the mainnet within a few months.

On May 22nd, the Solana ecosystem privacy project, Light Protocol, announced the release of version 3, called "Private Solana Programs" (PSP). Developers can now build fast privacy payments, encrypted order books, and games on the Solana public chain with privacy status. Light v3 allows developers to move private program logic to the client, and then Solana verifies zkSNARKs to prove the correctness of the state transition computed by the client without revealing the transition itself. Currently, the Light Protocol test network is online and will be launched on the Solana mainnet in the coming months. Previously, on October 18th, 2022, Light Protocol completed a $4.5 million seed round of financing, with Polychain Capital leading and participating investors including Solana Ventures, Hypersphere, dao5, Asymmetric, Balaji Srinivasan, Algod, and The Crypto Dog, among others.
