Dune releases timetable for SparkSQL and PostgreSQL shutdown, with services officially ending on July 15th.

BlockBeats reported on April 21 that blockchain analysis platform Dune has released a timetable for the discontinuation of SparkSQL and PostgreSQL. On May 15, they will be removed from the data resource manager, with editing disabled on June 15, and service stopped on July 15. Dune reminds users that they need to use the DuneSQL migration tool before July 15 to migrate to DuneSQL. Queries run on SparkSQL or PostgreSQL will no longer be updated in the future, but data can still be accessed. In addition, data ingestion on Polygon, BNB, Optimism, and Gnosis' respective Postgres instances was stopped on April 20. Meanwhile, Spells will continue to run on SparkSQL in the short term, but can be queried by DuneSQL. The Dune team is already testing a new version of Spellbook that will run completely on DuneSQL, narrowing the remaining compatibility gap.
