ConsenSys CEO: Hope regulators recognize that encryption is an innovation and don't stifle it

ConsenSys founder and CEO Joseph Lubin said in an interview at ETH Denver, the Ethereum conference, on March 6th, "Similar to L1, we have a group of competing and co-operating client teams that basically build the same protocol. We want these projects to compete and work together in some kind of unified agreement. In my opinion, the whole ecosystem has never been healthier and there is so much innovation here. Hopefully regulators will recognize that encryption is just an innovation, a building mechanism. Don't stifle innovation ". In addition, he added, "There are a lot of projects in the Ethereum ecosystem that I'm excited about, especially within ConsenSys."
