Polkadot releases 2022 review: 74 parallel chains and over 300 DApps

BlockBeats News: On December 30, Polkadot released their 2022 annual roundup on social media. As of now, Polkadot Ecology has 74 parallel chains, over 300 Dapps, covering more than 550 projects and 2,500 monthly active developers. More than 350,000 XCM transfers have been sent since the launch of the Security Cross-Chain Interoperability (Cross-Consensus Message). SubStrate underwent nearly 1,000 fork-free upgrades in 2022, including 15 upgrades on the Polkadot blockchain in Boca. In addition, Polkadot has integrated Tether and USDC and launched decentralized trading platforms Polkdadex and Equilibrium to support DeFi, with OpenGov, the next generation of blockchain governance system, expected to come online in the near future.
