DCG invested in South Korean crypto trading platform Gopax wealth management products due to Genesis delayed repayment of principal and interest

BlockBeats news: On November 17, South Korean crypto trading platform Gopax announced that due to the suspension of redemptions of its crypto wealth management product GOFi by its partner Genesis, GOFi is now delaying its principal and interest payments. Gopax requested the redemption of all assets prior to the announcement to protect customer assets, but the redemption has not been carried out. Gopax said the deferred debt service applies to GoFi products and has no impact on ordinary customer assets. "DCG is Gopax's second largest shareholder and the most important business partner in the current digital asset ecosystem," Gopax said. "Even if there is a delay in payment, Gopax will do its best to ensure that customers are able to redeem their GoFi deposits."
