This round of financing was jointly led by Temasek and Alibaba, followed by Sanqi Entertainment, and Thailand as the exclusive financial adviser. The funding will help the team recruit top talent in the games industry and further expand its presence in North America and Asia Pacific. YAHAHA continues to support its community of over 100,000 creators through a diverse mix of studio collaborations, accelerators, global events, Game Jams, and more.
The company released the Alpha test version of its product in April 2022. Overseas users have been able to download it on PC/Mac/ mobile terminals, and users can interact with the service across terminals. By October, YAHAHA's products had attracted more than 100,000 users to register and experience them. YAHAHA has already expanded to nearly 200 employees with offices in Shanghai, Finland and Seoul as it pushes its product to market. It is expected to open offices and recruit local teams in other regions.
