Sidekick, a UK-based investment management platform, completed a £3.3 million ($3.82 million) Pre-Seed round of funding led by Octopus Ventures on October 31, BlockBeats reported. Seedcamp, Semantic, Grabyo founder Will Neale, Gumtree co-founder Michael Pennington, Tandem Bank co-founder Ricky Knox, Credit Kudos co-founder Freddy Kelly, Azimo co-founder Michael Kent, and Mark Ransford participated. Sidekick is said to be designed to enhance the investing capabilities of millennials by giving them access to active portfolio management, educational tools, and investing in assets such as cryptocurrencies and private equity.
