World is a decentralized, open-source, and permissionless protocol designed to establish a real-person identity and financial network for the AI era. It consists of four core components: World ID, World App, Worldcoin (WLD), and World Chain. World ID uses Orb devices to achieve anonymous and untraceable real-person verification with zero-knowledge proofs; World App serves as the first wallet, supporting identity and asset management and mini-application usage; WLD is the protocol's native token, used for governance and transactions; and World Chain is an Ethereum-based L2 network that prioritizes services for verified real persons.
