Cryptography asset manager Bitwise has filed a withdrawal proposal with the us securities and exchange commission (SEC), according to the latest SEC filing made public on January 14, BlockBeats reported.
Bitwise filed a proposal for the bitcoin ETF with the SEC on Jan. 10, 2019, according to the filing. Bitwise filed a complaint in October 2019 after the SEC rejected its ETF proposal. Although the SEC said in November that it would review its proposal again, Bitwise's withdrawal suggests that the bitcoin ETF still cannot meet regulators' demands.
