On August 4, 2024, the first edition of the Tech Fairness Hackathon, jointly organized by the FAIR3 community, CARV, and HackQuest, officially concluded successfully. The Hackathon lasted for a month and a half, focusing on key topics such as "Tech Fairness," "Privacy Data Rights," and "AI Agents Infrastructure," attracting over 600 applications globally and over 200 team project registrations.
Through project solicitation, eligibility screening, professional judging, and the final Demo Day showcase, a total of 30 project teams made it to the final evaluation. In the final judging, 21 outstanding winning projects were selected, covering various tracks from exploring tech fairness, AI infrastructure development, data coordination frameworks, modular identity systems, to real-world implementation of AI × Web3 scenarios.
This Hackathon set up two core thematic blocks proposed by FAIR3 and CARV, representing two different but complementary directions in the development of Web3 technology:
Proposed by the FAIR3 community, this theme revolves around the core proposition that "technology should serve the majority," exploring fair system design under the background of AI × Web3. This includes institutional design, product experience, and decentralized infrastructure construction across multiple dimensions. Four competition tracks were established:
· Tech Fairness Exploration
· Public Infrastructure
· UnicornX Special Award
· BNBChain Integration Awards
The FAIR3 segment established a $30,000 USD FAIR3 Token prize pool and will continue to provide post-event incubation support, resource matching, and funding referrals for further development.
Initiated by CARV, this track focuses on building underlying infrastructure that enables deep integration of AI Agents with Web3 data, driving the deployment of AI technology on-chain, data processing, and self-execution. This track covers the following four main pathways:
· AI Agent Infra on SVM (SVM-based Agent Infrastructure)
· Decentralized Data Orchestration with D.A.T.A Framework
· Modular Identity & Reputation: CARV ID
· Open Innovation: AI × Web3 for Real-World Use Cases
The CARV track features a $20,000 USD CARV Token prize pool and plans to further productize and integrate award-winning projects through its mainnet ecosystem and D.A.T.A Framework.
Track One: Tech Fairness Exploration
This track encourages the development of innovative AI × Web3 applications focusing on dimensions such as user rights, fair incentive mechanisms, mental health, and education:
· ASAP: An intelligent risk control platform integrating on-chain and off-chain data sources, providing real-time alerting and event perception capabilities.
· Selva: A Web3 mental health application focusing on emotional management, integrating AI guidance and user data sovereignty.
· Noped: An AI companion-based intelligent agent that helps users build good habits, enhancing behavioral self-discipline and daily efficiency.
· PetPal AI: A decentralized pet health management assistant that offers intelligent care advice to pet owners.
· Babybloom: An intelligent parenting application tailored for Southeast Asian families, combining emotional support and health management features.
·ChainZap: Aptos on-chain asset "posthumous inheritance" protocol, safeguarding the seamless transition of digital inheritance in case of user contingency.
·Sol Yield Hunter: Solana-based yield automation platform that intelligently allocates funds to optimal strategy combinations.
·TradingFlow: A codeless quant trading platform under DAO governance, driving inclusive and democratic strategy adoption.
Track Two: Public Infrastructure
·This track emphasizes the reusability of tools and frameworks, aiming to create open and accessible foundational resources for the developer community:
·Todamoon: Web3 marketing growth tool that achieves precise user acquisition through community interaction and task mechanisms.
·AI DSA Coach: AI-integrated DSA learning tool with multi-feedback capability to enhance user efficiency and feedback experience in algorithm learning.
·AlphaIQ: Real-time data analysis and wallet profiling platform for the Alephium network, combining visual analysis with gamification.
Track Three: UnicornX Special Award
·FIRE: An intelligent financial management assistant that helps users track expenses, set goals, and gradually evolve into a virtual CFO. This project excelled in "strategic transparency" and "user empowerment," earning a special award from the UnicornX CEO.
Track Four: BNB Chain Integration Awards
·TradingFlow: Its product is now fully integrated with the BNB Chain, enabling native deployment of multi-chain strategies.
·Usedy: A token-incentivized recycling marketplace supporting item traceability and community sustainability.
Track One: AI Agent Infra on SVM
·AI World: Build a standardized architecture that supports AI Agent on-chain deployment, automatic execution, and task scheduling.
·Cipher Protocol: A transaction assistant designed based on behavioral economics to help users manage investment emotions and form long-term strategies.
Track Two: Decentralized Data Orchestration – D.A.T.A Framework
·AI World: A distributed execution architecture with both data-driven and Agent collaboration capabilities.
·PeachLust: A personalized novel creation platform that combines generative AI with Web3 to build a decentralized content production network.
Track Three: Modular Identity & Reputation - CARV ID
·DootyCall: An AI gut health tracker that combines CARV ID to build a privacy-protected biometric data and identity binding system.
·Trippy: An AI-driven travel planning assistant that supports on-chain payments and personalized trip generation.
·Track Four: Open Innovation – AI × Web3 Real-World Use Cases
·NutriMe: Combines AI nutrition detection with Web3 incentive mechanisms to achieve data sovereignty and healthy habit formation.
·FitGrow Slimming Star: An interactive health app integrating weight management, virtual avatar development, and on-chain incentives.
·Nature Sleep: A Web3 sleep improvement application that integrates AI natural audio generation and user data analysis.
As the initiating community of the "Fairness Commitment Protocol," FAIR3 announces that it will provide ongoing support and incubation plans for the winning projects, including but not limited to:
·Launch of the "Fair Incubation Program": Providing funding, operational support, and product implementation services for selected projects;
· Docking FAIR3 community resources, including dissemination, Token model design, ecosystem test users, etc.;
· Collaborating with UnicornVerse (the support platform behind UnicornX) to connect the project with financing and partnership resources;
· Regularly hosting online AMAs, demo sharing sessions, etc., to continuously enhance the project's community visibility;
· Inviting project parties to sign the "Technical Fairness Commitment Agreement" to jointly build a more transparent, inclusive, and verifiable technical development environment.
This FAIR3 incubation plan is funded and supported by UnicornVerse Founder Ann and has received joint sponsorship from several senior builders and KOL philanthropists in the crypto field. As FAIR3 has always advocated: "Technology should not only serve a few," we believe that what this Hackathon has sparked is not just the collision of ideas and technology, but also a collective resonance in the Web3 world about "technology for good."
FAIR3 will continue to connect communities, public chains, and developers, encouraging more builders to practice fair values in system design, jointly constructing a more equitable, open, and sustainable technological future.
