IRISnet's Slash time has been reduced from 36 hours to 10 minutes through the proposed reduction in the offline detention time for verification nodes

BlockBeats news, IRISnet said in a post today that the proposed regulation on the chain to reduce the offline detention time of verification nodes from 36 hours to 10 minutes has been approved. A total of 60.56% of the holders participated in the vote, and 99.61% of the voters agreed. The approval of the proposal means that nodes can resume running 10 minutes after being slash.

Previously, IRISnet conducted a parameter management, which increased the difficulty for verifier to operate nodes, including increasing the offline detention time of verifier to 36 hours. Since then, there has been feedback from the verifier community that 36 hours is too long. On November 21st IRISnet launched a proposal to shorten the length of detainment.
