I am very pleased to announce that I have joined OKX SG as CEO. The reason for accepting this challenge is that I believe that encryption technology represents the next generation of cutting-edge innovation. Singapore has played an important role in the adoption of encryption, and I believe we have the ability to connect Singaporean customers to the on-chain world in a secure and seamless manner.

OKX has been in the encryption field for nearly a decade. In recent years, we have continued to expand our footprint and obtained licenses in key locations around the world. We focus on responsible innovation and the pursuit of sustainable growth, while firmly promoting technological progress and protecting user rights.

As a key digital asset hub, Singapore is an integral part of our global strategy. The team has been working hard to build a solid foundation here. Today, I am very proud to announce that OKX SG has been awarded a Major Payment Institution (MPI) license by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

The MPI license enables us to provide digital payment tokens and cross-border remittance services, including spot (buy and sell) trading of cryptocurrencies for customers in Singapore. Obtaining the license is a major milestone for us, and we are more committed than ever to providing access to our customers and contributing to the growth of the community and ecosystem.

Born and raised in Singapore, I have always looked for ways to contribute to Singapore. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to do so in my previous career at MAS, GIC and Grab. Now, I believe OKX SG is a platform that can make an even greater contribution.

I am very excited about the opportunities ahead and feel honored to lead Singapore's leading digital trading platform. With our team’s track record, passion and ambition, and active community, I am confident about the future.
