1. Polkadot
With the launch date of Polkadot's main network approaching, some exchanges offering Polkadot tokens DOT saw a sharp drop, including Hotbit, which fell 30%.

At Polkadot's China tour event in June 2019, Dieter Fishbein, partner manager of the Web 3 Foundation, said that Polkadot's main network is scheduled to launch in late 2019 and in early February 2020 at the latest. Polkadot pilot test network has been running normally, with more than 100 nodes. The transfer test will be started soon. Polkadot has not announced when it will go live.

Polkadot futures DOT tokens are traded online on Hotbit, Lbank, Bigone and other exchanges. Because there is currently no tradable DOT for transfer transactions, investors cannot withdraw their futures tokens, resulting in large price differences between different exchanges. Exchanges such as HotBit and LBank saw the biggest falls, of -30 per cent and -5 per cent respectively.

2.Kusama

Kusama network has successfully changed from PoA consensus to PoS consensus, and has gone through several iterations, and is now basically stable. On November 19, the community and Parity co-hosted an online AMA on "how Kusama nodes work", where they invited Joe, a research analyst at Parity, to answer questions and share Kusama's latest developments.

3. Cosmos
Arianne Flemming, director of The InterChain Foundation (ICF), The development support group behind Cosmos, said in an interview with Coindesk that The group still holds 1,400 BTC, 50,000 ETH and 20 million ATOMS, with a total value of 730 million yuan.

ICF technical director Buchman said the ATOMS held by ICF are not capital and are used to participate in the Cosmos ecosystem. ATOMS are a tool for motivating regulatory involvement in the network, which is used to assign ATOM to participants, driving them to participate in the Cosmos ecosystem.

A non-profit fund set up by ICF has funded more than 50 blockchain projects including Cosmos, Tendermint, IrisNet, GitCoin and FullNode, with a total investment of more than us $25 million. Zaki, director of Tendermint Labs, said the Tendermint team currently holds 8 percent of the ATOM tokens, and the company raised $9 million in 2019. ICF does not expect to make money in tokens.

In April 2017, ICF raised $17 million to develop Cosmos, a cross-chain project. Since then, ICF has funded or invested in Agoric Systems Operating Company, Tendermint and other projects to prepare for future IBC (cross-chain communications) agreements.

Cosmos's main network token ATOM is up 47% in a month on the news that Cosmos's cross-chain protocol IBC will soon be available.

In addition, Zcash has recently released its roadmap for 2020. In addition to achieving the goals set by the foundation's executive director at the beginning of the year, Zcash also stated that they are exploring Cosmos Peg Zone, which can share privacy functions to other ecosystems in addition to cross-chain fixed assets. This work will also serve as a reference for design decisions in Zebra to make other cross-chain integration easier.

4. Kava
Cosmos's first DeFi project, Kava main network, was officially launched at 22:00 PM on November 15, 2019. According to Kava, the main network started in less than five seconds, with more than 50 node verifiers in the first few minutes. At present, there are 66 node verifiers on the Kava main network, the block height is 5812, and the main network has 25 million us dollars of Kava tokens as collateral.

In an open letter, the Kava team has decided to use $1.5 million of IEO's funding to conduct a Kava token buyback, which will be used for eco-building. Now the Kava buyback program has been officially launched and more details will be announced later.

The Kava project sold $3 million worth of Kava tokens in IEO. The $1.5 million was used for the token buyback, which aims to improve the community growth system and ensure that users enjoy more rights in the Kava ecosystem. Kava will follow up with a series of other ecological events, including node development grants, community incentive programs, and new partner recruitment.

Regarding the buyback, Kava CEO Brian Kerr said that the team is currently planning to keep Kava tokens in low market circulation and inventory, and therefore is taking extra care in launching both the secondary and OTC market buyback programs so that the team can better develop node funding, community events and other eco-building programs in the coming months.

5. Theos
Tezos recently upgraded its governance mechanism, which will be another milestone for Tezos. This upgrade is the third update on the Tezos chain. Babylon2.0 requires the participation of at least 74.7% of web participants and the approval of 84.53% of participants.

The update, proposed by the Cryptium Labs and Nomadic Labs team, will affect the network's consensus algorithms, smart contract capabilities, and governance mechanisms. And make it easier to develop smart contracts by simplifying the code for complex contracts. And change the reward system for the baker node (verifier) to better motivate them.

Finally, the upgrade will simplify the delegation process. Previously, users had to generate a specific address type (KT1) to allow them to delegate funds. After the update, the user can delegate from his public key (whose address begins with tz1, tez2, or tz3) without being forced to generate a new contract with a KT1 address.

6. Algorand
The Algorand foundation recently announced its first Development Awards Program to support Algorand ecosystem innovation. As part of its vision to build a broad and vibrant blockchain development community, the Algorand foundation is committed to supporting the community and exploring the innovative opportunities that exist in the Algorand blockchain ecosystem. Algorand is interested in the development areas of applications, utilities, monitoring, tools, deployment, and libraries, but importantly, this award campaign is open to any other area of innovation. Applications are evaluated for their creativity, usability, and code simplicity.

The first development award scheme will run for a trial period of six months (if the award pool is exhausted or prematurely closed), with a maximum of 250,000 Algo awards, and supported proposals will be included in the Algorand website as encouragement and recognition. The Algorand foundation is also eager for ideas from the community that might inform the developers of the next iteration of the Algorand program. The competition is open to professional developers, companies, developers and students.

Algorand recently announced the official release of Algorand 2.0, a major protocol upgrade that significantly expands the range of distributed applications (Dapps) and processes that can be built on the Algorand platform. The release provides standardized asset creation, atomic transfer, and smart contract capabilities directly on Layer 1 of the blockchain, making better use of the scalability and security of the Algorand protocol. With these new features built directly into the first layer, builders can create enterprise-class distributed applications without sacrificing performance or security.

7. Nerves
Nervos CKB main network "Lina" was officially launched at 5:11 am Beijing time on the 16th and successfully launched. After that, trands block was successfully launched, the height of the main network block was 106, and the hashpower of the whole network was 92132 GH/s, which reached about 1% of the total network power of bitcoin ina short time.

According to the Nervos official announcement, anyone can now download the CKB v0.25.1 client on GitHub and participate in the mining of the main network.

8. NuCypher
NuCypher, a privacy infrastructure project, has completed a new round of funding of $10.67 million led by Polychain Capital, with other investors including bit mainland, Y Combinator, Bitfury, Arrington XRP Capital, Notation Capital, Fenbushi Capital, DHVC, Continue Capital and others.

NuCypher said investors in this round bought about $10.67 million worth of its native token NU, or 8 percent of its initial supply. At the same time, the investors also agreed to lock up the tokens for two years, which means the investors may participate in the pledge and operate the node for two years. According to MacLane Wilkison, co-founder and CEO of NuCypher, NuCypher's total capital after the round is about $15.825 million, giving the network a valuation of about $133 million.

Meanwhile, NuCypher announced that it had launched its public test network, including staking network stress test. Staking operators participating in this test included Figment Networks, Staked, Bison Trails, Polychain Labs, Hashquark, etc. NuCypher expects to launch the incentive test network by the end of this year, while its main network is expected to be online in the first quarter of 2020.

9. NEAR
Layer1 Near, a project created by a team of Google all-star engineers, has officially launched a test website called "Stake Wars", in which participants have a chance to win tokens from the main website.

In addition to physical means, hacking other people's computers, and conspiring with more than 30 percent of the test network token holders, the test network will allow participants to attack and probe the network in almost every form, with rewards ranging from 500 to 10,000 per primary network token based on the Bug level found by the node participants.

According to the announcement, users will be able to start node deployment directly based on the help document if they have accumulated a qualified number of test network tokens in their previous account, otherwise they will have to submit an application. During the test network, the verifier must ensure that more than 90% of the time online, otherwise will be kicked out of the verifier pool.

Near was described by Vitalik after Devcon5 in Osaka as the strongest competitor to ethereum 2.0, and its sharding solution, called night shadow, is widely considered to be the most comprehensive sharding solution available. In addition to excellent protocol design and engineering capabilities, Near places a strong emphasis on "developer and user friendliness" and has built a suite of easy-to-use online smart contract compilers and user wallets.

It is understood that Near will adopt the economic model design scheme of dynamic adjustment of block rewards, real-time fixing of transaction fees and storage space on the chain and adjustment through community governance. At present, the dynamic mechanism of ethereum Gas causes a large amount of waste of transaction initiators. Therefore, the fixed-rate scheme will be conducive to the stable operation of Dapp.

10. Kadena
The PoW network of Kadena, a blockchain platform service provider, has finally broken through 1T. There are 10 PoW chains connected to chainweb. The netted blocks and transaction information can be clearly seen in Kadena blockbrowser.

Currently, Kadena's native token KDA is on sale at CoinList, which is divided into non-us and Global channels with different price and unlocking rules. The sale of KDA token is expected to continue until November 22.

Kadena is a comprehensive blockchain platform that integrates public chain and alliance chain. Kadena proposes chainweb architecture with both verified security and high concurrency in the public chain part, and adopts Scalable BFT consensus for high scalability and ease of use in the alliance chain part.
