In addition to the well-known Bitcoin NFT projects, what other "potential stocks" are there?

Aside from well-known Bitcoin NFT projects such as Bitcoin Frogs, OMB (Ordinal Maxi Biz), Goosinals, and OrdiRocks, there are still some projects that have already been released but have not received much attention due to their low market value or differences in attention between China and other countries. Additionally, there are also some unreleased projects that are worth keeping an eye on.

Let's take a look at the "hidden gems" worth our attention outside of well-known Bitcoin NFT projects.

NodeMonkes

This project is definitely considered a newly famous Bitcoin NFT project. NokeMonkes is known as "Node Monkeys" in the Chinese community, which is a direct translation of its English name. On December 23, 2023, after about 30 hours of Dutch auction, NodeMonkes finally sold out when the price dropped to 0.04 Bitcoin. As the first native 10K PFP series on Bitcoin, the NokeMonkes team ultimately earned about 240 Bitcoin in sales revenue.

The current floor price of the project has exceeded 0.2 Bitcoin, which is only one step away from flipping Bitcoin Frogs. Since its launch, the total transaction volume of the project has exceeded 600 Bitcoin, and the transaction volume on Magic Eden has reached about 60% of Bitcoin Frogs. Such achievements are too amazing, to the point that they have been compared to Bitcoin Frogs in the Chinese community, sparking widespread discussion.

This project may be the most popular Bitcoin PFP NFT project among ETH NFT players that I have seen so far, both in terms of narrative and artistry, NodeMonkes is not bad. Personally, I don't like this project because its team has repeatedly changed its stance before the sale. The project first sparked a huge discussion because it claimed to reject a $5 million investment from VC and insisted on doing a Free Mint project. However, the heat of the project continued to rise, and the project party continuously changed the sales plan and abandoned its previous promises. From claiming Free Mint and no whitelist mechanism, to announcing the adoption of a whitelist mechanism and charging for casting, and then to all whitelist-free Dutch auctions, the claimed $5 million investment is also questioned.

Of course, how many people can resist the temptation of taking away 10 million US dollars from NFT players' hands...

Setting aside personal preferences and focusing on the project itself, its revenue is stored in a multi-signature wallet composed of Bitcoin mining company CEOs such as @hash_bender, Taproot Wizards CTO @rot13maxi, and Mining Galaxy VP @bitcoinbeezy, ensuring reliability. In addition, many foreign NFT KOLs are promoting this project, and individual NFT transactions of around 2 bitcoins have already occurred. It may not be long before we see NodeMonkes flip Bitcoin Frogs.

OnChainMonkey (OCM) Genesis

On September 6, 2023, OCM officially passed a proposal with a budget of up to $1 million to migrate the series to the Bitcoin Ordinals ecosystem. On November 30, 2023, OCM began to open up migration from Ethereum to Bitcoin for holders.

OCM was launched in September 2021 and is known as "the first 10K PFP project generated entirely on-chain." Simply put, OCM's images are rendered through code within smart contracts, so they were able to deploy all content to the chain with just one transaction costing 0.798 ETH.

The migration proposal was put forward by Metagood, the parent company of OCM. Before proposing the migration, Metagood had successfully issued a 3D animation NFT series called OCM Dimensions on Bitcoin and open-sourced the code used to create the project. They also collaborated with Asprey Studio to launch the Asprey Bugatti Egg project.

On December 15, 2023, OCM announced the completion of a $5 million seed round of financing led by Sora Ventures, with participation from CTAI Ventures, Bitcoin Frontier Fund, UTXO Management, London Real Ventures, and Peach XYZ. Currently, OCM's floor price is 0.082 Bitcoin.

Fomojis

Fomojis is quite OG. The first generation has a total of only 100, with inscription numbers ranging from 18951 to 24112. The current floor price is 0.34 Bitcoin, with a total trading volume of 7.2 Bitcoin. The second generation was released a month ago, with a total of 2009 and a current floor price of 0.0129 Bitcoin, with a total trading volume of 25.42 Bitcoin.

This project is quite influential in the foreign community and has good technical capabilities. The second generation is the first to implement 100% dynamic inscriptions using recursion.

O.P.I.U.M.

Just in the early morning, the creator of the project, @lepuppeteerfou, launched a new project called Bitcoin Puppets, and the launch platform InscribeNow was just smoked...

This project is one of the few meme arts on Bitcoin. It has always been about community and meme art, and the official website also features an abstract style similar to HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu. There are a total of 777 pieces, with a current floor price of 0.04 Bitcoin.

Bitcoin Boos

Another OG project. The total number is only 100, with the inscription number ranging from 3314 to 14274. The current floor price is 0.33 Bitcoin, with a total transaction volume of 7.18 Bitcoin. Bitcoin Boos also has a new series called Boottalion Soldiers, which can currently be applied for whitelist.

Other than the community, Bitcoin Boos is also exploring the integration of AI and developing a dynamic AI-driven RPG MUD game.

Unreleased Projects

Pizza Ninjas

The whitelist for this project can still be obtained through a simple and crude method of recruiting people. The final snapshot time will be at 10:00 AM on January 13th Beijing time.

INK

The latest hot new project, promoted by @inkonbtc, has already gained 5500 followers with just one tweet. A bunch of foreigners have already been tweeting trying to get on the whitelist, and the NFT guru grail.eth on ETH has also expressed support for the project.

This project is a fully hand-drawn art PFP series. The total amount of the Genesis series will be limited to three digits and will be customized one-on-one by artists with over 15 years of experience working in DC and Marvel. The preview images released by INK are very impressive, and I can't control my drooling.

Counterfeit is a platform that focuses on the Bitcoin NFT art field, aiming to help more artists in the Bitcoin ecosystem. Its co-founder @0xBoozy is the creator of Pizza Ninjas and has been active in creating on Stacks before the appearance of Ordinals.

Starting from June 2023, counterfeit launched the "COUNTERFEIT CARDS" series. In simple terms, each "card" in this series is an independent series created by an artist. Currently, the 00 series of "COUNTERFEIT CARDS" has ended, with a total of 21 works released, while the ongoing 01 series has just released its third work.

The author of this third work has a good reputation and is a well-known artist active on ETH, named LORS. LORS is the creator of Set 028 in Jack Butcher's Opepen series, and his own series PSD and Acid Pepes have good market performance. The floor price of PSD is currently 2.22 ETH, and the floor price of Acid Pepes is currently 0.5 ETH.
