Celestia's generous pig's trotter rice bowl airdrop has attracted attention to the modularization trend, being the first but certainly not the last coin issuance modular project. What opportunities can we look for in this track in the future? In this issue, Biteye brings you six potential modularization projects and interactive suggestions;
-Fuel
-Altlayer
-Polygon Avail
-Caldera
-Eclipse
-Other Suggestions
aims to build a modular execution layer, enhancing security through the use of fraud-proof mechanisms and UTXO for parallel transactions, and a lightweight client. Fuel's co-founder is also one of Celestia's co-founders, and they raised $80M in funding last September.
Interaction:
1. Install the Fuel native wallet and choose a project interaction on their ecosystem website: https://alpha.fuel.network/ecosystem
2. Testnet cross-chain bridge interaction: https://alpha.fuel.network/bridge/?from=eth&to=fuel
is a Rollup-as-a-Service protocol that allows developers to quickly customize Rollups with fraud/ZK proofs, expected to launch on mainnet in 2024. Polychain led a $7.2M funding round, and it was selected for the sixth season of the Binance MVB Program.
Interaction:
1. Complete the official Galaxy Quest: https://galxe.com/unsupportedregion
2. Create a Flash Layer in the Altlayer Dashboard: https://dashboard.alt.technology/login
is Cosmos' modular settlement layer designed to allow developers to quickly deploy application-specific Rollups using RDK and a dedicated settlement layer. They raised $6.7M last June, and the founder stated that a second funding round is expected.
Interaction:
1. Participate in the official DC airdrop
2. Conduct token exchanges between various Rollups through the official website: https://portal.dymension.xyz/ibc
3. Install Go and configure the necessary hardware to run a node. For more details, please see the documentation at: https://docs.dymension.xyz/validate/dymension-hub/overview/
Is a provider focused on the data availability layer in modular blockchains, allowing Rollups to publish data to Avail for storage and choose other networks for settlement. One of the Polygon co-founders led this project after leaving Polygon and it is currently unfunded.
Interaction:
Avail is currently holding a Validator Spotlight event where users can fill out a form to join as a testnet validator: https://twitter.com/AvailProject/status/1715008696835600451
Is a Raas service, with its innovation lying in decoupling data availability from the settlement layer, allowing customized Rollups to send transaction content to Ethereum or a specialized DA layer like Celestia to optimize transaction costs. Caldera has raised $9M with investment from Dragonfly, Sequoia Capital, 1kx, and other institutions.
Interaction Method:
1. Perform cross-chain interaction on its testnet: https://testnet.caldera.dev
2. Interact with networks built on top of this project, such as Manta Pacific, Injective, etc.
It is a modular settlement layer, similar to Caldera, that allows creating a custom execution chain by choosing the desired consensus and DA layer, providing customizable features to create the optimal combination for specific use cases. Eclipse supports EVM and SVM in the execution environment (supporting SolanaVM is considered an advantage of Eclipse) and plans to support more virtual machines in the future. It already supports Celestia at the DA layer and may support protocols like Eigen DA and Avail in the future. Eclipse has successfully completed two funding rounds, with a total funding amount of $15M, with participation from Polygon Ventures and Polychain.
Interaction Method:
1. Eclipse's mainnet is live, so pay attention to projects collaborating with Eclipse. Interact with these projects to gain some influence.
Projects to refer to: https://eclipse.builders/partners
Celestia is the DA layer currently supported by Eclipse. You can continue to explore interactions with Celestia, such as staking $TIA, running a Celestia light node, for more details, see: https://www.eclipse.builders/partners
Lastly, Last but not least, in addition to directly interacting with the project team, the following methods can also help ordinary users receive airdrops
• Stake atom or osmos, $TIA this time has a 50 low-insurance airdrop for those staking over 75 dollars, after the $TIA airdrop, partial staking is also possible
• evm chain interaction, for some large project teams, even if they are not projects in the evm ecosystem, they will also airdrop to evm participants, many addresses that received Arb and Op airdrops, this time all have $TIA, the key is mainnet tx + layer 2 tx + a certain balance + anti-whale, click to view details
