In 2017, he was awarded the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Blockchain Outstanding Innovation Award, and in 2019, he was appointed as a Justice of the Peace by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government.

In addition, Thomas Cheung MH JP is also the managing partner of Spaceport Opportunity Fund, Digital Economy Opportunity Fund, and Digital Era Opportunity Fund. He is also a partner of Deep Harbour Capital and Hong Kong Inno Angel Investment Limited.

Phillip Lord currently serves as the Chairman of Oobit and Co-Chairman of the EDGE Summit.
