What happened with the release of the new Azuki series last night that caused public outrage?

Original author: @0xwill_eth, a crypto KOL

Waking up to find that Azuki Elementals is trending, what were the issues with last night's release? This article summarizes them.

1. mint time

Azuki holder only had 10 minutes to mint, which caused the website to be overloaded with traffic and crashed in a short period of time. Many people missed out on the opportunity, and Azuki's official response was vague and unhelpful.

Many well-known azuki whales have not been caught.

2. Variably increasing issuance

This is a bit funny. The art style and elements of Azuki Elementals are almost identical to the first generation. After the release, the community was stunned, and there were even unlucky people who sold Azuki as Elemental.

 3. Rough workmanship

Some elementals' images seem to have low-level errors during the drawing process.

4. Possible Rug Pull by Project Team

This is the most critical issue that has caused dissatisfaction among many community holders. At the end of the sale, the project party directly transferred 20,000 ETH, leaving people confused. Is this the level of a top-tier blue chip company?

5. Confusing Pricing

The pricing of Elemental 2e has, on one hand, severely compressed the value of the first generation Azuki. Given the same image, which one would you choose to buy between 15e and 2e? On the other hand, it has also reduced the demand for Azuki beans.

6. Community and NFT market confidence shaken

For the NFT market and Azuki community, this is a major blow. Many KOLs in the Azuki Chinese community have expressed dissatisfaction, and there are also many who bought small beans to qualify for minting, but now the price of small beans has plummeted, leaving long-term holders of small beans inexplicably affected.

The above materials are from the overseas KOL @LambolandNFT, which I have modified and organized, and added feedback from the Chinese community.
