Game Introduction

The chain game MODragon is developed by MOBOX, a metaverse game platform that received strategic investment from Binance Labs in 2021. It is built on the Arbitrum chain and will officially launch at 14:00 on May 25, 2023 Beijing time. DragonMO (hereinafter referred to as "Dragon") is an ERC-721 standard NFT issued by MOBOX platform on the ARB chain.

The Genesis Dragon Eggs total 7000, with 5000 being airdropped to the winning address of ARB "Golden Shovel" and 2000 being airdropped to the winning MOBOX users.

Every two dragons can breed, and each dragon can breed up to 7 times. If the corresponding dragon is destroyed after the 7th breeding, the theoretical maximum number of dragons in the Chain Game MODragon is 7000 (1.5^7-1) 119,601; if the corresponding dragon is not destroyed after the 7th breeding, there is no theoretical maximum number of dragons.

Star level and rank require the consumption of dragons to be upgraded. Only dragons of normal and good quality can be used as upgrade materials, with corresponding experience values of 1 and 2 respectively. Upgrading stars can increase the level cap of the dragon, and each star upgrade requires the consumption of 1 dragon with the same prototype as itself.

Gameplay

Currently, only the breeding, hatching, and pre-collection gameplay have been launched on MODragon, and a dragon NFT trading market is also built-in. Users can participate in trading using ETH, ARB, USDT, and USDC.

The pre-collected dragon stones are called the lifeline of the Dragon Universe Game and the key to unlocking power. The MODragon economic model does not involve native tokens, potions, fragments, or other elements of chain games.

MoDragon Server Launch Event mentioned that activities such as Element Carnival, Daily Dragon Power Ranking, and Weekly Development Ranking will be released soon to further enrich the gameplay.

Speculation

Therefore, it is speculated that there are currently or already 22 rare dragons and 4 epic dragons in incubation throughout the server. The incubation time of dragon eggs corresponds to their quality, and there are currently no items to accelerate the incubation process. The incubation time for common dragons is 48 hours (2 days), for good dragons it is 96 hours (4 days), for rare dragons it is 192 hours (8 days), for epic dragons it is 288 hours (12 days), and for legendary dragons it is 600 hours (25 days). Players can visually determine the quality of the dragon that can be hatched based on the remaining time when incubation begins.

The first rare dragon may appear on June 2nd, and the first epic dragon may appear on June 6th.

High-quality dragons are low-probability, high-potential output products, as well as excellent breeding, upgrading, and star-upgrade materials, which will be of long-term interest to experienced players. Low-quality dragons, on the other hand, are currently seen as mass-consumption materials that are essential for improving a dragon's ability to upgrade and star-upgrade, and are also a barometer of the game's success or failure.
