Learn how to build your own DEX through Native

Read this article in 12 Minutes
Make a fully functional DEX in 5 minutes, so that each project has its own DEX

Many people believe that the current encryption ecosystem relies too much on exchanges, and users rely on centralized exchanges as intermediaries to complete trade instead of directly interacting with decentralized applications and liquidity providers. This constrains the ability of the ecosystem to scale and also limits the ability of projects and communities to interact and grow. In this context, Native hopes to eliminate third-party transaction fees and allow each project to have its own DEX.

In this article, BlockBeats discusses what Native is, what Native can solve, and introduces How to use Native to create the project party's own DEX.

What is Native?

Native is an invisible DEX layer in the crypto space, designed to make decentralized The competition between centralized finance and centralized finance is more level and allows the application layer to grow. It is also a toolbox that allows any project party to create its own internal DEX toolkit, thereby eliminating middlemen between projects and communities, enabling them to trade directly. At the same time, Native also eliminates the need for decentralized UX or third-party exchange fees, and improves efficiency, matching centralized exchanges.

Each project in Native Network has its own DEX and integrates it into its own in the user interface. No more friction for first-time users and no need to deal with third-party exchanges to purchase tokens from favorite projects.

Each Native DEX becomes part of the Native Network where projects can share liquidity and Benefit from greater depth. Each project-owned DEX acts as an autonomous node, with fees, pricing, and available liquidity sources fully under their control. This provides better prices and a more democratized DEX experience for project teams and users.

In short, Native's technology provides a solution to the problem of the encryption ecosystem's dependence on exchanges. By removing middlemen between projects and communities, allowing for more direct interaction and growth without the need for third-party intermediaries. Native's goal is to make crypto projects their own DEXs and help them provide users with a seamless and secure trading experience, increase efficiency, and match centralized exchanges.

Currently, Native has established a strategic partnership with Ankr, one of the top Web3 infrastructure providers, as a technical partner Ankr's RPC infrastructure, SDK and CLV wallet, and Native's DEX builder kit make crypto more accessible to novice users and project builders alike.

How does Native work?

The swap widget is the GUI end users will use to perform their swaps. It will be integrated into each project's own application or website. Project teams can choose to use the default swap widgets created by Native, or create their custom widgets using the Native SDK or API. Each project has its own exchange widget; these widgets are distinguished by their API key.

On-chain router contracts help coordinate single-hop and multi-hop exchanges, checking to ensure that the entire The slippage of the transaction is within the specified amount and wrapping/unwrapping the wrapped native token when necessary. The on-chain pool contract is where the swap logic is handled in the swap.

Treasury (liquidity address) is where pool assets are stored. This can be any EVM compatible wallet: hardware wallet, EOA wallet or smart contract wallet. The only connection between the treasury and the mining pool is the allowance provided by the wallet owner for a particular coin.

Native Backend The native backend is the relay center of the front end, which is used to help obtain data and Forward data to other components of Native. The only job of a signer is to sign transactions. It will fetch the private key from the secure container using the known public key. The signature will be generated according to the EIP712 specification.

The FMM pricer is the list of available pricing models that the project side team can choose from when setting up the pool content. Native supports both on-chain and off-chain pricing models. For on-chain pricing models like Uniswap V2, there are separate smart contracts for each pricing model.

Pricing Model

The pricing models currently supported by Native include: Uniswap V2, constant sum, fixed price, RFQ PMM. Native's modular architecture allows projects to choose the most efficient pricing model. This results in lower (or zero) fees for users and radically increases the capital efficiency of the project. Using Native, project parties can even surpass CEX in terms of capital efficiency.

When using Native's technology, price calculation happens off-chain, but supervision and transactions happen on-chain. Users or project parties can choose the "Uniswap v2" pricing model, or choose from a variety of other pricing models, including fixed price, constant sum, or even using an off-chain price source. Off-chain pricing works similar to 1inch and 0x, using market makers to increase ledger depth. Users get the best price, whether it’s an off-chain price feed from a market maker, or an AMM using on-chain pricing.

Native currently supports BNB Chain and Ethereum, and is developing more evm-compatible chains and rollups. Native turns transactions into a function, improves the transaction experience of ordinary users and solves the token management problem of the project team. This levels the playing field between decentralized and centralized finance and allows the application layer to grow.

How to build the project’s own DEX in 5 minutes?

Enter the Native official website, link the wallet, select the network, click create pool name, add liquidity address and multi-signature address, click Next, and select token.

Choose a pricing model (Native supports multiple on-chain and off-chain pricing models) and liquidity provider fees (0.01%, 0.05%, 0.3%, 1.0% or customize). The pricing model and liquidity provider fees can be updated after the pool is created, and after checking the information is correct, the on-chain transaction is confirmed in the wallet.

Copy and paste the integrated code to the corresponding position in the project party's own website, that is, the project party's own DEX creation is completed. Can be tested and run.

BlockBeats reminds that although Native adheres to the principle of openness and transparency and publishes the protocol code on GitHub, and the Native V1 smart contract also completed the audit on February 26, we still recommend that the project party use it before the mainnet. Test it on the testnet first.
