First, Zero Knowledge (ZK) rollup is a Layer 2 scaling solution that increases Ethereum throughput by processing transactions off-chain and bundling them together on-chain.

Overall, the benefits of ZK Rollup include very low gas rates and no sacrifice of blockchain security.

This article introduces ZK rollup protocols for eight different topics.

1. zkSync

zkSync is a Zk-rollup that is also EVM-compatible.

Although still in development, the team has already launched the mainnet. You can already try it with real money.

In addition, they have raised $458 million. And it doesn't have its own token.
