With 45,000 copies priced at $99 each, former US President Donald Trump's first NFT series, "Trump Digital Trading Cards," sold out in just 12 hours. Even though the NFT series was released on Polygon in large quantities, NFT players were still FOMO.

In 48 hours, the floor price jumped to 10 times its low
Behind the fevered FOMO, Trump's first NFT still has a lot of unanswered questions...
Prior to the release of the NFT series, Trump himself posted a video of himself appearing on his own Social media platform, Truth Social, promoting it as an "important announcement."

It may seem as if the NFT series was personally released by Trump or his team, but that is not the case.

Trump Digital Trading Cards are issued by NFT INT LLC, which purchased a license to produce and sell the Trump name and likeness from CIC Digital LLC, according to a description on the NFT series website. CIC Digital LLC was founded in 2021 by one of Trump's lawyers, John Marion, and former adviser Nick Luna.
Who is NFT INT LLC? No one in NFT or even Web3 circles seems to have heard of him. What's more, the address they left on their website was a UPS store in Park City, Utah.

Google Maps shows the corresponding address in real life
But NFT INT LLC is not registered in Park City. It is 480 kilometers away in Cheyenne, the capital of Wyoming, a "little Cayman Islands" with countless "shadow companies."

NFT INT LLC is actually a "shadow company" registered with Wyoming Corporate Services. In the lightly regulated state of Wyoming, Wyoming Corporate Services is a specialist in providing "shadow company" setup services.
In this context, NFT INT LLC has led many people to speculate. It has been suggested that Trump's connection to the project is more than the usual NFT "star selling licenses for money," but there is still not enough information to support those theories.
According to Gizmodo, the art design of "Trump Digital Trading Cards" seems to directly use the product drawings of the clothing company. Gizmodo tried to get in touch with the clothing companies to ask if Trump Digital Trading Cards had their permission, but has yet to hear back.

If, like me, you missed the raging Trump this weekend, please enjoy some humor from the world of Web3 at the end:)
- "75 million people voted for Trump in the last election. You don't buy it. 45,000 is too much."
- "But Chuan Fen doesn't know how to buy NFT?"
- "Oh. They didn't know how to break into Congress on January 6th, but they figured it out."

And, not to be outdone, his old rival Joe Biden. (Note: This is a "local dog", just to give you a smile, do not blindly invest)
