The Hackathon ideas and developer resources provided by Solana Ventures (hereinafter referred to as "SV") are for educational and inspirational purposes only. SV does not encourage, induce or sanction the deployment of any such application that violates applicable laws or regulations. SV does not encourage, induce or sanction the deployment, integration or use of any such application (including the code that constitutes the Solana Blockchain Protocol) that violates applicable laws or regulations, and hereby prohibits any such deployment, integration or use. Including the reader's use of any such application (a) in violation of export control or sanctions laws of the United States or any other applicable jurisdiction, and (b) if the reader is located or ordinarily resides in a subject country or territory under comprehensive sanctions imposed by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), (c) if the reader is or is working on behalf of a specially designated national (SDN) or a person subject to a similar injunction from a blocked or rejected party, or (d) in contravention of the Commodities and Exchanges Act.

Readers should note that U.S. export control and sanctions laws prohibit U.S. persons (and others subject to such laws) from transacting with persons listed in certain countries and territories or SDN. As a project primarily based on open source software, it is still possible for those sanctioned to circumvent the ban, acquire code (or other project code or applications) containing the Solana blockchain protocol and deploy, integrate, or otherwise use it. Therefore, for individuals, other people using the Solana blockchain protocol may be subject to sanctions, and transactions with such people will violate US export control and sanctions laws. This risk applies to individuals, organizations, and other ecological actors who directly deploy, integrate, or use Solana blockchain protocol codes (e.g., as node operators), as well as individuals who transact on Solana blockchain through light clients, third-party interfaces, and/or wallet software.
