What other GameFi projects are available on Terra, which is second in the TVL public chain based on DeFi

Currently, lock-in volumes on Terra are largely supported by several head DeFi protocols, and their performance in GameFi is still somewhat weak.

On December 20, data from The Block showed that The total value of lockers on The Terra chain has reached an all-time high of $17.46 billion, surpassing The BSC network's $15.4 billion and ranking second among all public chains.

In addition, with its market cap topping $9 billion, Terra Ecology's Stablecoin UST has surpassed DAI's market cap to become the fourth largest stablecoin market cap, according to Coingecko. Currently, the top three stablecoins are USDT ($77.5 billion), USDC ($42.2 billion) and BUSD ($14.6 billion), all of which are centralized stablecoins. Therefore, UST, as a decentralized stable currency, has become the leading project of the circuit.

但另一方面，公链 TVL 排第二的 Terra，却仅仅是靠生态的几个头部 DeFi 协议在支撑。DeFi Llama 数据显示，目前 Terra 链上 TVL 排前五的协议是 Anchor、Lido、Terraswap、Astroport 和 Mirror，TVL 分别为 72.1 亿美元、49.3 亿美元、18.4 亿美元、10.7 亿美元和 9.2 亿美元，五个 DeFi 协议总计就锁仓了 159.7 亿美元，占到了 Terra 链上总锁仓价值的 91% 以上。

一直以来，Terra 都旨在创建一个基于去中心化技术的全球高效支付系统。因而无论是从其产品设计、项目生态，还是合作伙伴上来看，都是为了增加其稳定币的采用。而目前，Terra 已在 DeFi 领域取得了巨大成功，但在当下另一个火热且十分重要的 GameFi 赛道却表现乏力。

同时，在市场规模上，Newzoo 公布的数据显示，2020 年全球游戏市场规模达到了 1778 亿美元，远远超过了全球电影市场 (疫情影响，美国电影协会披露 2020 年全球电影票房仅为 120 亿美元) 和音乐市场 (国际唱片业协会音乐报告显示为 216 亿美元) 的总和。毋庸置疑，游戏会吸引大量的玩家用户加入到 Terra 生态，从而极大地推动 Terra 稳定币和生态内 Dapp、协议的采用。

并且，目前公链生态的 TVL 还往往与市场的 DeFi 热度呈高度相关。当市场情绪高涨时，Terra 链上的 TVL 会随之上升，而到了市场情绪低落时期，再加上全球金融行业的周期性影响，公链的 TVL 往往就会受到较大的波动。
