GunBull: NFT's emerging field of digital art toys

Read this article in 17 Minutes
GunBull NFT will launch Mint on November 29.

On November 19th, Red Lakkis and CTO Atonal, the directors and designers of Gunbull NFT project from the UK, held an online communication with users, bringing a new topic: "Digital art toys in the emerging field of NFT".

GunBull was developed by CYBRO team and designed by British designer Red Lakkis. It is based on a local bull terrier and has 2,999 NFT, each with a unique prototype doll. With NFC encryption chips and SWAROVSKI rhinestones, every collector has the opportunity to own a "diamond hand."

Gunbull is not just a simple NFT. The project also provides each NFT with a unique physical doll that is customized and matched with AN NFC chip, so that collectors can own their own collection on the chain and in reality, as well as the IP rights and reproduction rights of the collection itself. NFT and NFC are perfectly bound together, so that IP copyright and collection value are greatly enhanced.

The following is a transcript of the online conversation

BlockBeats: Please briefly introduce yourself. How did you get into NFT?

Red Lakkis:My name is Red and I'm a British artist and designer. My major is brand and product design. This year I dabbled in the FIELD of NFT and wanted to create a collectible NFT.

I found a great team that helped me turn my dreams into reality while providing more service to clients on all levels. I feel very proud and honored to be working with them on this project.

BlockBeats: Your NFT project seems to be a bull terrier, can you introduce a GunBull project? Why was such an NFT project created?

Red Lakkis:Yes, I chose the bull Terrier for the NFT character because I have a history with this dog. This is a story about a dog who is obsessed with the moon and breaks his chain in order to reach the moon. I did this project to symbolize my breaking away from my old life and entering a new world (NFT world).

BlockBeats: GunBull has only 2999 units. Compared with other NFT projects, the number of GunBull is very small. Why is there such a setting?

Atonal:Our NFT comes with a high-end physical collection. While other projects are basically digital only at the time of initial launch, each Token is cast and generated, and the product the buyer gets is a digital work of art.

In our case, once the buyer has cast and generated a digital NFT, we have the factory immediately produce a physical version, each version for the features and attributes of the digital version.

We face challenges and limitations that purely digital projects don't. A limited run on our genesis works ensures that we can offer a very high quality collection that will add value over time.

BlockBeats: Each Gunbull NFT comes with a physical doll, similar to e-commerce. Why is it designed with a physical NFT?

Red Lakkis:As an artist, I have always been interested in craft and physical works of art, clay figurines, toys and paintings. When the NFT field became popular, it changed the digital art world. It fascinated me so much that I started thinking about the future and what we could bring to the space, both as an artist and out of it as a profession.

Talking about it a lot on Twitter and in clubs has given me a lot of ideas about the different uses of NFT, and it's got me thinking about how we can push the boundaries and do something new. Profile PIC has done a lot this year, people focus on the success of the project, and collectors have seen this model done thousands of times.

We wanted to make something special and share it with the collector community. We need to accept that NFT is here to stay. Mass adoption in a few years... No one knows. We are bullish on the future of NFT, particularly in the retail sector and the premium luxury sector where Gunbull will be one of the blue chips.

We will be "crypto punk" or "ether rock" in physical + digital NFT space.

BlockBeats: Each entity also comes with NFC. What are the advantages of this design?

Atonal:We believe that the concept of symbolic ownership of physical collectibles or high-value goods is the future.

The encrypted NFC on the Gunbull doll is permanently connected to the NFT. Our NFT is on the Ethereum blockchain and product origin and ownership information will be permanently available. They can also be traded or transferred in a secure and transparent manner.

There is no doubt that connecting them in this way will greatly enhance the owner's or potential owner's trust in the authenticity of the dolls, while also thwarting the current counterfeiting problem in the high-end toy and luxury markets. We believe this concept brings unprecedented advantages to collectors and the technology will develop at an exciting rate.

BlockBeats: Gunbull has VIP private sale mechanism. Could you introduce this mechanism? Why is this gameplay?

Red Lakkis:Private sale is pre-order our NFT. Buyers can cast NFT at any time after pre-sale to avoid GAS price disputes and whitelist competition. At the time of casting, they will only pay for GAS because they have already paid for NFT in advance.

We offer lower prices for early backers and offer bootleg quotas and some GUNBULL co-branded purses. This is to allow users to save more money and time, and simplify the process of Chinese community participation.

Atonal:Because we know that a lot of people who really like NFT can't participate in the early NFT project rush for some particular reason.

There is a potentially huge market in China and, like luxury goods and doll collections, many of the boring apes we know are owned by Chinese buyers. The Chinese community and market are very important to us and we value them very much, and it is always desirable to have more Chinese people involved in our projects.

BlockBeats: Gunbull will create a DAO in the future. Can you introduce your current idea about DAO?

Atonal:In our roadmap, after physical delivery, the DAO will play a key role in the Gunbull we see in the future. GUNBULL will launch more physical dolls in the future, tapping into the market for physical collectibles just as KAWS BearBrick is doing now.

Our NFT is more like an IP, and Disney's IP is commercially viable. We firmly believe that our technology and vision have great potential as many major brands are studying NFT.

The DAO setup provided great scope for creativity and fairness for early proponents. This year, we took inspiration from Uniswap and more recently ENS and changed the rules of the game.

In the future, we also plan to return a portion of our profits to all DAO members. In order to reasonably encourage autonomy and sustainability throughout the community, we are considering voting for the next doll, upgrading your doll, switching from Swarovski to real Diamonds, DAO community pool allocation, investment direction, and other options.

BlockBeats: Will Gunbull have its own governance token in this DAO?

Atonal:Yes, of course. There are many factors to consider around this, and it was important for us to make the right judgment on its setup and ensure Token economics. We can make sure everyone's experience is smooth.

Crypto space is moving at high speed. The way DAO is organized will continue to change as regulations are implemented, and with regard to DAO's future development, we will closely monitor the latest developments in the industry to ensure that we are implementing in the best interest of society and listen to their input and feedback before finalizing details.

BlockBeats: What are Gunbull's immediate plans?

Atonal:What we want to do in the future is to make each GunBull NFT doll as soon as possible after casting, which requires a production cycle of one to two months from the factory. Later, we will gradually expand the doll collection market, aiming to attract more doll collectors to pay attention to us, so that each Gunbull doll has its own collection value and commercial copyright value.

Imagine if the Rolex ownership Guarantee card had an NFC to prove ownership and authenticity? Think KAWS, what if you could actually verify it via blockchain? We are excited.

Secondly, we should pay attention to DAO community autonomy. We should participate with the community to make our DAO more perfect and meet the interests of every DAO member.
