CBridge 2.0 Test Net Upgrade: A New State Guardian Network
Source: CelerNetwork Technology community

Today, we are pleased to announce the launch of cBridge 2.0 beta Network.

With this test Network upgrade, we introduced a new State Guardian Network (SGN) experience for our users, as well as a series of functional iterations based on valuable feedback from our users. In addition to continuing to test the features of cBridge 2.0, users can now experience the new cBridge transaction Fee rewards feature and the new VERSION of CELR's COUPON UI/UX by visiting the sgn.celer.network.

In addition, we have a $20,000 reward for anyone who helps us test the new features in this upgrade. Read on for more details.

What does the upgrade include?

New SGN user experience

In the architecture of cBridge 2.0, SGN plays a key role as a decentralized node gateway and service level agreement (SLA) arbiter in the "self-managed" liquidity model and as a liquidity manager in the "co-managed" liquidity model. With SGN taking on these important roles, verifiers and pledgers within SGN capture value in cBridge 2.0 through the transaction costs of the network itself. Transaction fees can slowly build up through service transfer requests across chains, so a new way is needed for users to claim those accumulated fees. With this test network upgrade, we will launch a new web application that will allow SGN pledgers to experience the new pledge and block reward management system as well as the cBridge Transaction fee reward management system during the trial.

Functional iterations in cBridge 2.0

For SGN's new UI/UX, we've done some functional iterations based on user feedback from the first version of the cBridge 2.0 testnet. In addition to system-level improvements, users and LPs can now experience the following new features from web applications:

-  Improved pre-transfer cost estimation: After the upgrade, the estimation function has faster response time and higher accuracy;

-  Single chain Working Capital Withdrawals: LPs is now able to consolidate their available working capital on multiple chains into one chain and then withdraw these working capital on a single chain, significantly reducing overhead during operations.

$20,000 cBridge2.0 testnet prize

As the final step before mainnet launches, our goal is to put some extra pressure on the system and gather a new round of feedback. To encourage active participation, we will offer rewards based on usage and feedback received.

$18,000 stability Master award

The event will last for seven days, from 8 am Beijing time on November 9 to 8 am Beijing time on November 16. According to the usage of each test user every day, we will calculate the usage score of each user and make statistics of the leaderboard on that day.

The scoring rules

We will rank users based on their usage score: Usage score = the number of qualified operations that complete the test in every 24 hours.

Operations that meet the following criteria are considered qualified operations:

-  Cross - chain transfers are limited to 5000 transactions per address per day.

-  Add or subtract liquidity from the liquidity pool, up to 1,000 times per address per day.

-  To receive liquidity mining bonus, each address is limited to 50 times per day.

-  Pledge and de-pledge in the SGN network is limited to 100 per address per day.

-  Rewards are collected from the SGN network up to 50 times per day per address.

The ranking of awards will be calculated on a daily basis, and all awards will be given out at the end of the whole event.

$2,000 reward for feedback and error reporting

With this upgrade, we will also launch a $2,000 reward campaign. We will select the 20 best feedback or error reports submitted between 8:00 am Beijing time on November 9 and 8:00 am Beijing time on November 16, and will award $100 to each selected person.

All winners of both events will be announced at the end of the test web.

CBridge 2.0 mainnet progress

In addition to this beta network upgrade, there is some good news about the cBridge 2.0 mainnet launch. We have completed three independent audits and found no security vulnerabilities in Celer cBridge and SGN 2.0 smart contracts. The audit reports and open source smart contract code are available for community review. We are conducting a careful internal cross-team security review and expect to launch the mainnet in November.
