Open interest in CME Bitcoin futures reached its highest level in eight months

On October 15th, the open interest rate (OI) of Bitcoin futures trading on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) neared a record high, even higher than the BTC price at $65,000. BTC is now recovering from a 5-month high of $58,550.
